After some discussion, a change has been made in our Sunday morning safety protocol. At this time, masks will be optional (though still strongly encouraged) for the Sunday morning services. Please wear your mask into the building and then, if you so chose, you may remove your mask once you are seated and properly social-distanced.
The Thursday evening service will remain masks required for all participants for the duration of the service. This will give protection to those members who may be more vulnerable and need higher levels of protection.
As members of the body of Christ, we respectfully ask that we not judge anyone on the basis of their conscience and the decision about which service they would attend. In all things, let Christian charity prevail.
We are now returning to our indoor worship services which will be held on Thursdays at 7 PM and Sunday at 9 AM. Curbside communion will be offered in designated parking spaces for high risk individuals. We will be following the protocols and restrictions that are recommended by the CDC and the state of Indiana, which you can read in detail (click here)
With the universal Christian Church, the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod teaches and responds to the love of the Triune God: the Father, creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in the ultimate victory over death and Satan; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God's Word and Sacraments. The three persons of the Trinity are coequal and coeternal, one God.
